At least in Russia, the New Year's Eve party is definitely the greatest party of the year, the day that people wait for the whole year to come.

Hi guys! A girl doesn't need a reason to put on a beautiful dress, but when there is a special occasion the dress must be special too. For Christmas and New Year's Eve a velvet dress is an unbeatable option. You can choose a long or a short one, and it's not necessarily must be a dress. You can play with velvet tops, jackets or even trousers. But my advise is, if you're not attending a thematic party avoid wearing pearls and feathers. They can make a perfect match with the velvet but only if you're starring at "The Great Gatsby" party. Only simple elegant details can make you the Queen of a "non-thematic" night.
